The plants can’t always speak to us with what they need, but we dig into how we can catch those needs and fulfill them with a variety of application methods that fit your farming operation.

Traditionally wheat has been a more simple plant to manage but also more responsive to foliar application management throughout a growing season. While we still agree with that, there have been many things we have been missing out on that have been discovered, primarily with early and late season nutrient deficiencies from managing our in-season soil and tissue sampling program. SoyBeans
It’s been a long time debate over decades that Soybeans can produce 80% of their own nitrogen through nodulation, but how do we address the other 20% of the remaining plant throughout a growing season? Increasing earlier vertical root development, quicker nodulation, more upright branching, and shorter plant stature for more energy to a plant with lower populations are beneficial advancements we have found to be more applicable to our growing environments within your growing conditions. Corn/Milo
As an industry we tend to follow the same farming methods with a Corn/Milo plant throughout a season. We know how many units of N are needed to push X yield on a crop, but what if the form of nitrogen would change things? What if we are missing other nutrients important for a reproductive state, or slowing down our ethylene production during hot dry spells on crucial growth stages? It is the little things that are just as important as the big things that are needed to not sacrifice or reduce any yield potential throughout a growing season to assist in setting ourselves up for the best opportunity possible.
